Here's a sample tutorial I made up to show how you can take any image you want and apply transparency to it using free online tools.
This Sample Text image needs to be put into this photo, but its got a white colored background that blocks out a lot of my picture when I paste it in. It doesn't look good... that white area needs to be transparent.
